The Trip

Plans:
This year for my big trip I have decided to take a trip through Latin America. On my trip plan to visit pyramids is Mexico, then go visit lake Titicaca and explore the Andes in Peru and finish of with a week long stop at the luxurious Gloria hotel in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. Then for the last week of my travels in the Caribbean and then fly back into the U.S.

For the first week of my travels I am my staying my nights at the hotel pictured.

Day 1:
Today I took a car out to the ruins of Tulum where I am climbing some of the ancient Mayan pyramids when I looked of the of one I could see miles off into the rain forest and see the gray tips of distant pyramids. Later today I will hike about three miles farther into the rain forest where I can explore an ancient Mayan Sport arena where people once played a game some what like soccer except the game was played with a flaming ball. And the loser of the game always died. I will also get to see the ancient remains of the houses in which Mayan people once lived. Then I will have a traditional Mayan diner in a small restrant in the little town about six miles away form Tulum. Then I will return to the hotel around 6:00 PM and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 2:
Today I am at Tulum, ruins of an ancient civilization on the gulf of Mexico. Today I hope to look at and hopefully learn about the history of Tulum and of its culture. I will visit some of its' famous pyramids on the ocean and explore the land scape.

Day 3 and 4:
In the next two days of my travels i am going take a plane in to Peru. Then I will take a four hour train ride to the base of the mountains surrounding the ancient city of Macchu Pichu. From there I took a bus up the switch backs to get to the city and as I stumbled out of the bus not having the time to adjust to the Altitude I nearly fainted but the kind man on the bus behind me gave me some coca tea. I can now fully enjoy the landscapes. After about three hours of sight seeing I will go back down the mountain. After I am down the mountain I will spend a night at a small

It sounds like an interesting culture and you should tell us more about it. By the way, be consistent with your tenses (present, past, and future) and 'gelous' is spelled jealous. Yeah I'm really 'gelous' of your spelling skills.

You should definatly consider visiting Santiago; you can take a train from Lake Titicaca down there. There is so much to see there. Did you visit the Monumento Pachacuteq in Cuzco? It is the one of the Inca warrior King Pachacuteq.
